About the Artist

I’m Phil Weasley, a Creative Director (Web), illustrator, and educator based in Columbus, Ohio. My work sits at the intersection of typography-driven design systems, publication-minded layout, interactive media, and visual storytelling—helping organizations and audiences move from information to meaning with clarity and craft. Whether I’m building brand standards for digital experiences or shaping story-led visuals, I approach each project through research, structure, and an artist’s eye for composition and narrative pacing.

Alongside my professional practice, I teach at Columbus College of Art & Design, where I develop foundations-forward, “thinking by doing” coursework that helps students strengthen drawing, design literacy, and portfolio-ready execution. My studio work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and I’ve received support through Greater Columbus Arts Council grants and an artist residency in Seville, Spain. Through Weasley Studios, I also lead and contribute to independent publishing and long-form creative projects—bridging design, illustration, and world-building into cohesive, finished experiences.
