Welcome to Weasley Studios! I’m Phil Weasley, a Website Creative Director, brand systems lead, and educator working at the intersection of strategy, design, and storytelling. I build scalable digital experiences and visual identities for real-world clients, while maintaining an active studio practice in illustration and narrative-driven projects. Below is a selected set of work that reflects how I think, lead, and make.
Selected Projects
Coalescence: A Holiday Collection
Client: Signe-ture Publishing
Role: Art Director, Illustrator, Graphic Designer, and Book Layout Specialist
Description: Coalescence: A Holiday Collection is a fully illustrated holiday anthology that unifies multiple stories through a single, cohesive art direction balancing character illustration, disciplined typography, and consistent layout design. I developed the visual system that carries across formats, ensuring the reading experience feels intentional and premium in both digital and print editions. The result is a tightly integrated book object where narrative tone, imagery, and design language reinforce one another from cover to final page. (https://www.signe-ture.com/)

Coalescence: A Holiday Collection
Client: Signe-ture Publishing
Role: Interior Illustrations
Description: I approached the anthology as a single illustration system anchored by a controlled, color palette that stays consistent from story to story. My stylization leans into readable silhouettes, expressive character acting, and simplified shape language with intentional texture and value hierarchy, so each illustration feels distinct in subject but unified in tone. I composed and art-directed every piece for clean reproduction in both digital and print, with color and contrast calibrated to hold up on the page.
Website & Brand Redesign
Client: Hart & Hill via R&A Marketing
Role: Creative Director & Brand Strategist
Description: I pivoted the brand strategy to a “Boutique Showcase” model, anchoring the identity in their “Tastefully Unhinged” aesthetic and unique origin story to bridge the gap between accessible retail and luxury design. Visually, I implemented an editorial design system using high-contrast Cormorant Infant typography and a rich, custom color palette to create a sophisticated, gallery-like environment that actively rejects the market’s standard beige. Seifert’s Brand Toolkit (Style Guide)
Client: Seifert Furniture
Role: Art Director & Brand Strategist
Description: The Seifert’s Furniture brand toolkit defines a visual identity rooted in four generations of family history, blending “small-town integrity” with a commitment to quality craftsmanship . It establishes a grounded aesthetic using a warm, earthy color palette of taupe and chestnut alongside a typographic pairing of Playfair and Inter to balance traditional elegance with modern clarity. The guide prescribes authentic, natural-light photography and a practical, “neighborly” brand voice that emphasizes honest guidance over sales pressure. (https://www.seifertsfurniture.com/)
Rosemary Bunny & Kat Epieces
Client: PERL Publishing
Role: Concept Artist, Illustrator, and Graphic Designer
Description: Concept development for an independent five-book children’s series. Served as Concept Artist, Illustrator, and Graphic Designer responsible for creating character/environment mockups and preliminary layouts to define the visual language and support the editorial direction. Project concluded prior to full launch.

Manor of Dread
Client: Triple Dice Publishing
Role: Art Director, Illustrator, Graphic Designer, and Book Layout Specialist
Description: Published D&D 5e horror adventure on DMsGuild that blends supernatural hauntings with clinical body-horror themes inside a mysterious, mist-locked manor. Served as Art Director, Illustrator, Graphic Designer, and Book Layout Specialist, creating key illustrations, map and environment visuals, and a production-ready layout system to define the visual language, reinforce tone, and support clear table use. Website Redesign
Client: Giorgi Brothers Furniture Showroom (R&A Marketing)
Role: Creative Director & Brand Strategist
Description: Brand strategy and website design for Giorgi Bros. Furniture, a continuously family-owned South San Francisco furniture showroom serving the Greater Bay Area since 1933. Developed brand positioning and messaging grounded in the company’s legacy, local ownership, and service-first retail model, then translated that strategy into a clearer web experience that organizes shopping pathways across furniture and home categories while reinforcing key conversion and trust drivers such as interior design services, delivery support, and financing options.
